Small shop on 7 Highway. Heard they had pizza by the slice, so popped in to get some cheese slices for my kids. They reheat slices in the pizza oven upon ordering (the king's way), but didn't heat the kids slices as much so they could be eaten right away. We really appreciated that!I got a BBQ brisket slice that was reheated to perfection, and ordered a large Sicilian pepperoni pizza to go. It took me 3 days to work through it! Big hearty thick slices cut into rectangles, but not dense and doughy. Very airy crust that reheats perfectly even to the last slice. I don't think I've had a slice like this anywhere else in the KC area. Definitely a must try for anyone looking for something a little different (but still very traditional!)

This is the best pizza in this area. When we went in it was busy. We didn't get pizza out of the case. We ordered a 14 inch and it took about 10 minutes. It was excellent. Better than Godfathers,Minskys, or any other. We haven't tried anything else but we'll be back.

Best pizza in Missouri, You won’t find a better New York style or Sicilian pizza in all of Missouri and I would put this pizza against most New York or New Jersey pizzerias. This is some of the best pizza you'll find in the Midwest. They give reputable New York pizza places a run for their money. It's nothing crazy just pizza done right with other good stuff to go with it. I remember having Vito's first Original Pizza back in Metro North Mall when I was a kid. That was the masterpiece pie sadly it seems he has hung up his apron for the most part but he's earned it. Nonetheless the pies here are great.Edit: It also does depend on who's making your pie some know how to do it better than others

Pizza is good, but will not be back anytime soon as the two gentlemen making the food were not wearing their masks correctly. One had his mask covering his mouth, but not his nose. The other had his mask over his chin, not cover his mouth or nose either one. Not wearing them correctly is no better than not wearing one at all, and in a time of publicly mandated mask usage, I expect the people preparing my food to comply.

This place has always been good to me. They always give me fresh food. The prices are fair and you get alot for what you pay for. This is the closest you will get to a New York slice other than going to New York city. They make great cheese steaks. I highly recommend this place to anyone that's wanting some seriously good food. Been a customer for over 10 years.

I like to order through door dash...drivers are always quick and friendly. However I gave it 4 stars instead of 5..the menu should be updated with descriptions on the food. I ordered cream cheese poppers..which I didn't know had jalapenos in them and I absolutely cannot have anything spicy. Would have been nice to know that beforehand so I could have ordered something different. But of you like tiramisu there's is amazing.

I went to Vitos on 2-27-2020 at about 7pm. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza and waited for it to cook. Guy calls me up hands me a box and I head home. I opened the box and it was a cheese pizza not pepperoni. I paid $26.50 for a cheese pizza. To far to drive back. It's all about service for me. I actually was walking into Dominos when I got back into my car a drove down the street to try Vitos. Dang.

The food is always well prepared and tasty, staff members hands over fantastic service. I liked how neat it is and ambience. I highly recommend this place.

I love the Greek Salad. They do not skimp on anything here you definitely get your money's worth.My husband's favorite is the Gyro. The meat has great flavor, the flat bread is soft and delicious, not to mention the homemade tzatziki sauce... YumTheir pizza, stromboli and calzones take me back to growing up in the Philadelphia suburbs. What can I say, this place is one of my personal favorites.

The food in general (pizza in particular) is pretty good. Portion sizes are on the large size so you don't leave hungry AND prices (while not cheap) are reasonable. Plus the counter staff is engaging. All in all a very nice family run place.

Not from the area and was looking for the best pizza joint around. The 600+ reviews did not lie! This place had really good pizza for an affordable price and the staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend it and if I'm back I will 100% be eating there again.

Popped in really quick when I saw a by the slice small pizza place since I'm just in town for work. Was not disappointed. Was kinda busy when I went, but it was worth the wait.

The pizza was good. They sell it by the slice. It was decent. The slices are big and the sauce is good. The cheesy garlic bread is where it is at though. They make it like my mama used to and it was FANTASTIC.

I'm from the East coast and I've been trying all the pizza places out here to find the taste of home. Everybody always says such and such place has the best or this place over here has the best; I'm always let down. I can say that this is the taste of home and I will certainly be back! The dough is what makes the pizza and these guys have got the dough, let me tell you! They also threw in a couple of pepperoni rolls for me to try as we have something back home called pepperoni balls; they were amazing, although not the same thing. You want fantastic pizza; don't look any further, this is the real deal!

Love the pizza !! First time ever eating there today got the meat lovers and the supreme for the family and was totally impressed. All the of the other pizza places sleep with the fishes from now on. We are life time customers as of today.

Not a bad place, but none of the pizzas by the slice were vegetarian friendly. So I ordered a whole pizza thinking I would eat the rest later, but the mushrooms were canned rather than fresh. I ate a couple of slices but ended up throwing the rest away because of the canned mushrooms. Fresh mushrooms, and a veggie or even a plain cheese by the slice, would be huge improvements.

This is the best pizza in Kansas City! They have daily specials going all the time. 2 slices and a drink for $7.25.Always glad to see you. Gyros, Philly cheesesteaks, spaghetti etc. I've had Chicago pizza and I will pick Original over them everyday of the week!. Always glad to see you come. Even if they're busy you will not wait long. The best customer service in town. Love this place!
